Downtown Aspen

The Limelight Hotel is located steps from the heart of downtown Aspen, just beside Wagner Park, making it easy and convenient to explore our charming town on foot. From Aspen's famed shops to haute cuisine dining and celebrated Victorian mansions, you’ll find plenty to keep you entertained.

Seasonal Recreation

Regardless of the season, Aspen is home to great outdoor recreation, including skiing, biking, hiking, golf, fishing, whitewater rafting and more. Explore the Maroon Bells, ski Ajax mountain, raft the Roaring Fork River, fly fish the Frying Pan River ... the list is endless.

Historic Sites

Before modern-day Aspen was inhabited by skiers and snowboarders, Ute Indians lived in the area for more than 800 years. Eventually, silver miners arrived in the Roaring Fork Valley in 1879.
